Diameter at Broken Top Failed
Hey @Rich Howard,
I'm compiling some cruise data and I have a 23.3 inch ponderosa pine with a broken top at 73 feet (estimated total height is 95 feet). When I attempt to compile it, Assisi fails to estimate the diameter of the broken top with the following message:
Diameter at broken top failed. Volume not calculated.
Any ideas on why this error is occurring and how I might fix it? Do I need to try and estimate the diameter myself?

Is the tree getting an estimated total height OK? Check Sub Sampling and Estimations for that tree. Assisi needs to estimate total height then it can estimate diameter at broken top using taper.
If all is OK, let's do a remote.
