Feature Request: Compiling Multiple Cruises

This could be a situation where I am using the program improperly, but it seems to me that I cannot compile multiple cruises for one stand. It would be extremely useful - really, necessary - to be able to compile more than one cruise at a time for a given stand.

Correct. Each stand has one "inventory" at a time. Are you wanting to compare between cruises? Create a separate Unit with a stand of the same name but with different cruises.
Is your need for CFI? For check cruising? For yearly inventory? Something else?
A Unit can be used for more than an "inventory" project. A Unit could be a measurement project as in CFI. It could be a yearly inventory. It could be a stratification effort. It could be an exploration of different models project.
Whenever you need an inventory to reference, make new Unit.
